Movement analysis with a wearable sensor

Understand your walk.Improve your movement.

A small sensor on your lower back and about a minute of walking: the app shows you how even, stable and smooth your movement is – with a personal exercise plan that builds on it.

How it works

Your movement profile in three steps

No lab, no treadmill: you walk the way you always do – the sensor measures, the app does the analysis.

    Put on the sensor

The small sensor sits on your lower back, at the level of your pelvis, and connects to the app via Bluetooth.

  2. The SYMYS app during a one-minute walk: recording, 37 seconds left, sensor connected

    Walk for about a minute

Walk at your normal pace. The sensor captures every step, and the recording stops by itself.

  3. A report in the SYMYS app: movement quality 77 out of 100, rated good, with the areas at a glance

    Report & plan

See your movement score with symmetry, stability and smoothness – and get a personal plan with exercises and routines.

App screens shown in German – the app also speaks English and Spanish.

Our vision

Movement quality, made visible –as naturally as heart rate and sleep.

Almost every watch tracks steps, heart rate and sleep. How evenly, steadily and smoothly you move is something hardly anyone gets to see. We want to change that – with a sensor that fits into everyday life and an app that shows you what to do next.

  • Measure, don't guess

A sensor captures how you walk – in your everyday life, not just in a lab.

  • Clear, not complicated

One score and three areas, explained in plain words – no jargon.

  • Train, don't just track

Your plan turns every measurement into a next step – with exercises that fit your week.

What is SYMYS?

SYMYS is a small motion sensor plus an app. You wear the sensor on your lower back while you walk; afterwards the app shows you how even, stable and smooth your movement is and suggests exercises that suit you.

Who is SYMYS for?

For anyone who wants to understand their movement better and train with purpose. Today, fitness studios use SYMYS for their members' first checks, and research projects use it in studies.

How long does a measurement take?

For a first analysis, about one minute of walking at your normal pace is enough. The recording stops by itself.

When can I get a sensor?

Today's sensor is a research and pilot device and isn't for sale. A production sensor is planned for 2027. Join the waiting list and we'll let you know as soon as it's available.
